Well I decided to sign up for my first group ride.

I will be riding my 78 cb550k,yellow Tecnic Jacket,the ride takes place June 13th,and leaves Durham Honda Powerhouse,Whitby

Are there any other forum members going on this ride or leaving from different locations  ??

My dad had prostate cancer,he did not go because of it but it did make life miserable for him.

I can get electronic pledge forms if anyone is interested.

Yes, in Victoria, B.C. our ride is on May 24'th. My wife and I have raised $239 so far in donations. 100% of the funds raised stays in the community they came from. It's a good thing to do and go get that prostate checked, if you're a man that is.

if i can i'd like to donate; may not be much $$ but this is an under appreciated matter compared to breast cancer awareness.

Durham Region(south Ontario) Ride for Prostate cancer is coming up this weekend(June 13).....Have any you you signed up....just heard from some Do-the-Ton guys that they had a good time on The Peel ride on the 6th....

Our ride here in St. John's Newfoundland is on the 20th of June. I hope the weather is better than the rain we had last year .

I've got $400.00 + in donations for this worthy cause.
This is one CANCER that should be easily caught...just a 5 min test and some blood work.

Get tested...your Prostate will thank you

Edmonton's ride for dad is today as well... I was going to go, but my bike is laid up... figures.

Did my first ride(Group) on Sat.............if you like twins with big jugs this was the place to be......350 bikes and I'm guessing at 300 being Harleys or wanna be's.........I think I was the oldest and the smallest bike there,not counting the scooter.....see if you can spot it(550k) in the pics.....the only Honda SOHC,

Interesting experience,not sure I will do one again,there seems to be a bit of a pack mentality,one example a string of 20-30 bikes start turning at a light,light turns amber group keeps going,light turns red,6-8 go through the red to keep up...
It was a good cause,and I guess I just have to consider the reason everyone was there,and ignore the attitudes.....
I went alone so maybe just had too much time to think........a buddy or two on a ride like this would be good..
