Topic: ZX7R master cylinder ?? on a CB550

Does anyone know the size banjo bolt for a Kawasaki ZX7R master cylinder. 

Just got one on ebay for 20 bucks complete - banjo bolt and thinking of using it on my CB550.

I'm not sure, but normally the banjo fittings are a similar size, just try the ZX7 bolt in your fitting and you may need to use new Kawasaki crush washers if different from Hondas.  I've used lots of different master cylinders and haven't had a problem

I realize now you looking for the bolt size. Again not 100% sure about the ZX7 but most of the "big four" banjo bolts (10x1.25mm) are interchangeable. Try your 550 bolt it'll probably fit.

cool,  actually after googling for awhile I found out it is 10x1.25mm.  Now time for a good cleaning.  Does anyone see any issues with using a 5/8" piston for a single caliper.  I know this master is used to pushing 2 much larger dual piston calipers that are on a 93' ZX7R.
