this video is pretty special too me for multiple reasons.....some of you know this already but for the ones that don't know it,i will give ya a small update of it:

3 day's after my son was born he had a major stroke, something blocked a vein in his neck and starved his brain from blood...
He lost a third of his brain due to this. The predictions for his future where very grim...
Doctors told us he won't be able to:sit, walk, talk, learn, see and use the right side of his body...
Over the last 4 years he has proved them wrong, and does all off the above...
His seeing is the biggest thing, cause he does have Cortical visual impairment (CVI).
here is a link that explains that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cortical_visual_impairment
Now due to my son having the stroke and my wife problems with depression ,it all added up to the point where we split up last year august...
my wife went crazy and didn't allow me to see my son at all,and it took till now to get visiting rights..
So this past saturday I got to see em for the first time since last year and he just floored me with how much progress he had made in those months..!!!
He talks unbelievable good, hand to hand co-orientation is good,walks,runs..etc...!!!!! All things that he wasn't supposed to be able to do,you know.....
His vision is not good, and you can see that in his walking etc... but even that,it's amazing how he manage himself with that.....

This was the first visit,I get to have em every other weekend now,did me really good....made me feel like a dad again, and you have to have kids to understand that feeling.....it's beyond any other feeling in this world.....

Marti,

I am glad you got to see your boy finally. It's important for him to have some dad time, and I think it's important for you to have some son time. I am happy for you man. Keep us posted!

martino,

i had not known this. i don't know what to say other than this gave me one hell of a lump in the throat.

he looks to be left handed so that right there tells ya to expect remarkable things!  ;)

not being a parent i can only imagine how hard it was when your newborn became so ill. seeing again your clip with him really means something.

really, thanks for sharing. may god bless all of you.

I'm happy for you to have him back in your life, especially for what you both have had to go through.

My 7 year old son is a south-paw too.  Love that kid more than you even I can imagine.

Glad you've got him back in your life.  Congrat's and enjoy!
