Well, a lot of you gonna have trouble accepting this one..

 April 4th  or 6th.. a H-D will roll into Milwaukie with a MILLION miles on the same bike..

 I am sure there are a few other bikes have done this, but I say .. not too shabby..

I'm not really surprised that pretty much any motor can turn that if maintained well. I am excited that it was on a HD though. I sent the link to my Dad, who has been riding HD's for 40+ years. He claims he has never been broke down on the side of the road, even his AMF era bike didn't break down it just leaked more oil than a tanker ship navigated by a drunk captain.

Exactly.  A "million miles", huh?  maybe on the frame, but what about everything else?

The old mercedes are known for their mileage if well maintained, had an old merc prime mover where i used to work, used as a yard tug, had just over 900,000 on the clock with no major engine work if i can believe what i was told. Blew more smoke than popeye, had more air leaks than the hindenburg and leaked more oil than the exon valdeze but still ran like a swiss watch
