Desperately looking for a BMW R90/6 rear axle

I would have put this in the parts wanted section, but didn't want to pollute the Honda waters with BMW requests.

My friend Dave and I rode our BMW's to Deals Gap from Toronto last fall, and on the way back 100 miles from home, his rear wheel bearing went.  Wobbled the bike into Fort Erie, rented a U-Haul and drove the bikes home  ::)

Looks like we need a new rear axle for his bike.  So if anyone out there has one kicking around, I'll buy it!  Just avoiding eBay but if I don't find one in short order I know I can buy one there.

If you ever  go on Adventure Rider forum, go to the old school section & ask around. Lot of Airheads over there. There is also a classifieds.
