helmets what do you wear?

so i am now replacing my beany with a full face helmet  for this season as the prospect of going down and suffering undo injuries to my face and head  isn't appealing to me anymore.looking for ideas as to what you guys wear on your heads to compliment the look of these vintage bikes.

I know its not very vintage looking but i like the color and it has not a whole lot of craziness going on

I puchased this one at the store the other day

but am going to return it since i paid 150 and its 80 online, still gonna stick with the green one though.

I know these arent the high dollar ones but those are out of my budget and this one feels comfortable

I'm using an FFM K3 simply because I used to ride with a flip face one when I was a teenager and like the ability to breath a bit.
It helps the illusion that it matches the bike and the New Zealand cops wear the same one. ;D
Cost $200 Kiwi so quite a cheap helmet.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

My current helmet is Suomy Gunwind and I would NEVER wear anything but a full face.  Between my brother and myself we've crashed about 6 helmets racing and all but one has damaged to the chin and face.  Everyone has their opinion on helmets but on a bike chances are you're going to hit the pavement either by your fault or more likely, someones else.  After racing, full face, nothing else.

Solid black full face HJC, pretty much all the time now. I have a pudding bowl, silver/black, but I've been feeling a little better with the full face. Maybe after it warms up a bit I'll drop some coin on a Davida? But I prefer the full face if Im riding any farther than work!

Shoei full face, all white. Just dropped $500 for Spidi armored jacket and pants. So altogether maybe $750 to save a leg or a large chunk of my skull, not bad, right?

Hello,

Bought this Carbon made Marushin RS1 by the internet in Germany. 200 euros and it's the lightest helmet I've ever had. Very comfortable. A little noisy if you drive too fast, but I don´t so for me it's perfect.

cheapish helmet even in norway. I'm gonna get a Shoei next time. too bad they cost a arm and a leg over here.

Any helmet with a lot of vents will be noisy that's for sure. I've got a X-11 and an Arai Corsair....both are noisy. On the other hand the vents do work well.

HJC Sy-Max Flip front full face.  I like being able to open the helmet when I get gas, etc.  I've been looking at the new Shoei  Multi Tec.  I'll probably replace my HJC with the Shoei but gawd are the Shoeis spendy!

I wear a HJC CL-15 as well and got it for a similar price in Canada. I really like the visor set up...easy to take off and clean and maybe it's just me, but it seems to be well designed for shoulder checks.



I went for yellow for visibility, and the black and yellow kind of matches my bikes black and gold....but not really  :P
