Oh, yeah Gordon, we have all played a part, borrowed too much money as a whole just like in the thirties. The numbers don't lie.

No. Just a dim view of the people in power that abuse that power for themselves and their friends.

I'm pretty sure Bubba ain't hurting for anything right now Iggy, he's doing quite well I think.

But that's kind of my point. He was going to do well one way or another. What could these folks offer a Cambridge educated Arkansas governor that would lure him into this great global conspiracy? Monica Lewinsky? Seems like a poor trade to me.

Bubba still has posts in the CFR, trilateral and bildeberger groups.
As to specifics on what Bubba gets out of the deal Iggy, your guess is as good as mine.
I think for playing his role he gets whatever he needs or wants.

Well, are there any of the folks involved in these groups that we can look at and see something tangible?

Did Bill do it so he could be President but his real intention was to form a group to coordinate the activities of NGOs?

If these folks are just true believers and believe they're doing good things and not ONLY after money and power what are the goals?

I'm just saying.

Entry level job at McDonald's in Germany.

When JFK gave his famous speech in what was West Berlin in 1963, "Ich bin ein Bildeberger" he was actually opening up the first McDonald's restaurant in the city.  True story, I saw it on the internet and now you did too.

Greed power...it breeds more and more. These people can't get enough of it.
Why does Wal-mart want to monopolze the entire retail market? Greed, power.
They haven't sealed the deal yet, still continents to conquer and countries to assimilate. Only since the creation of nation-states and especially trade unions was this kind of control possible. It is getting worse, EU, NAFTA, CAFTA, Asian union, etc.

You take a dim view of humans I see. Also, what does it serve a politician specifically in the way of earthly delights to do this? Again, what did Bill Clinton get for his service?

What's with the Clinton obsession/fetish?  All the ex-presidents since Nixon got big fees for speaking engagements.

Tangible- let's see- how about the decision to make Obama pres. at the last secret meeting in Chantilly, Virginia? It was some big secret when he and Hillary disappeared for two days last year and then it was confirmed they attended the top secret Bildeberg meeting at the Marriot.

AIDS drug research in Africa really scares me, making drugs cheap there, perfect place to experiment on a bunch of human guinea pigs. Little or no government interference, people so poor they'll let you experiment on them how they please. Scary.

Yeah Iggy, what is the big deal with Clinton? You feel he hasn't lived up to his potential or something?

Pick any public figure who's a member of any of the groups and explain their motivation and compensation. I don't care really. How about Melinda Gates?

If Joe has acute appendicitis, he is very sick.
Joe is very sick.
Therefore Joe has acute appendicitis.

is really all I'm saying.

Motivation: I personally think it is to have one world government with one world currency with them (CFR, Bilderberg, Trilateral, IMF, World Bank) calling the shots.

Compensation: When the above happens eventually, whatever price they demand.

SO what makes you all tink we are not in a one world govt right now? After all, our economy goes and so is the rest of the worlds. Sure we still have our borders sorta and our dollar, whats left of it. But if you look, it has already happened to a large degree.

I know the whole secret society is as fun topic but have you all read about the darker side of their supposed plans? Like how "they" want 500 million for a planetary population? Over 6billion, what do you think will happen to us? THAT alone is a reason to become one of these societies. More than likely their families will be saved.

So many argue about politics and who is bad and such but politics is just smoke screen. Is politics really worth arguing over?

See, that's the problem with conspiracy theories.  The danger of the conspiracy is inversely proportional to the number of people who are involved.  Kinda like the 9/11 conspiracy.  If it really was a big conspiracy, it was the biggest heist in human history.  Thousands of people involved and not a single one said anything to anyone anywhere, EVER.  Except to the conspiracy theorists  ;)

So if there really is a top secret Illuminati organization bent on world domination, why would YOU (or anyone else not in the organization) know about ANY of it?

Ding! And especially with that Kissinger guy talking it up all over the place. He just can't keep a secret.

How many Chinese or Indian folks are members of these groups? I'm thinking they might want to have a say in which of their billion people get on the boat you know? Especially since they can defend themselves a bit.

Guess I better leave off the subject at this point. I dig the conspiracy theories but there's always missing pieces that make me go hrrrmmm.

No the problem is most everyone else is asleep at the wheel. People just throw their hands up and say "No way! why would our own government want to do ill against us!" and go back to drooling in front of their soma screens. More people are worried about voting for the next American Idoltry than the American President. It's what they depend on us to do at that point and further on, buy consume, don't pay attention to what's really going on.

Look, these people involved with these events and organizations answer to a different, higher power than the USA or any other countries. They are motivated and very disciplined in what they do. Plausible denial, create so many scenarios and coverups so the real conspirators can't be found out.

Look at the assassination of JFK for example. You think we're ever going to find out what really happened on that day? And don't give me that Lee Harvey Oswald killed him crap, we all know he was a patsy.

Like a wise man said a long time ago "Liberty requires eternal vigilence." Are you doing your part?

Say what you will about how Wagoner ran GM, but the fact that the Obama administration has asked for his resignation as a condition of more federal money is wrong, wrong, wrong. Sure GM squandered more money than we will ever know, and they are still making cars that less people are buying, but for the government to get involved in making decisions re: GM is a slippery slope.
As was stated before, private companies have few responsibilities, one is to their shareholders.
Unfortunately, being ethical is not one of them. Sure there has to be laws governing businesses, but I do not believe in corporate welfare nor govnernment intrusion into private industry.

A few pages back there was a discussion as to whether the U.S. was founded on Christian principles...

The first 'principle' was to take someone else's land.  That doesn't seem very 'Christian.'

If the natives would have been more organized and had better technology, who knows what the U.S. would be like now....

The guy at AIG did step down (and took his cash and ran). The guy you saw on TV has been CEO for about 6 months.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_M._Liddy
Edward M. Liddy (born January 28, 1946) is currently the chief executive officer of American International Group (AIG), where he succeeded Robert B. Willumstad in September, 2008.[2]. As CEO of AIG, Liddy receives a salary of $1 and equity grants[3][4], though he may be "eligible for a special bonus for extraordinary performance payable in 2010."[5]

He is on the board of Kroger though who own my local price gouging supermarket; QFC.

Yeah, one buck to get beat over the head with the senate hearing's kangaroo stick.

I would've not even accepted the government's request to take the job in the first place. You do know they approached him about the job, right?
