Found a 750k8 '78 in a School Bus Today !
« on: March 28, 2009, 06:12:13 PM »
I'm sooo excited !, I went to look at a 750k '78 and a K4 at a guys house today, he had them stored in an old School Bus along with a cb450 ('69 or '70 ? ). He didn't know which bike he had title for and went to look while I checked the vin #'s...yahoo, he had title for the '78 and it's complete...tank is shot and seat (K+Q) is ugly, but 16k on the clock and well under 500 bucks...I'm going back to get it Tues. or Wed !!!!! STOKED...rough but definitely workable. Old mr. left foot will have to be re-trained to a 5 speed, being spoilt with the 'Matic!!

Take a pic of it still in the bus! :)  It will make a great 'before' pic for before and after shots...

Congrats. I'm ready for pics  :) Yeah Spanner, what's up with the others? I wouldn't mind a 450 or a 500.

Mr left hand is in for more of a reality check than Mr left foot.

I was thinking that a school bus with some mods would be a great way to transport bikes and wife from here to there for a couple days riding.
Enjoying life, one day at a time.

Get the 450, too. Not that it's approved for a certain vintage racing class, same thing that happened ot the cb350 and 160 is going ot happen. Gonna go way up in price, and way down on availablity.
No.
