anyone have a 2000 ish vt1100

Thinking about getting one to add to the stable beside the cb650. Wondered if it is a good bike. It is a 2000 with about 30000 miles.

My uncle had one. Got a direct trade in for a 1300 but that's not the point.

He had so many miles on it that the dealer wanted to retire it for show.

345,000. Not sure of the year. But he rode to Alaska and back every year. Cross country a few times. Plus it was a daily rider.

Sturdy bike IMO.

My friend has one and I pretty much hate him for it.  He let me ride it... sweet.

it show ups as like 50 some horsepower. just seemed low for an 1100 and wanted some reviews on performance.Guy is looking for 3,000 and it has 31,000 miles.

Wow no kidding. I'd at least try to work him down to mid/low 2...

That's quite a punch for a lowly ST.
