750/4 engine into a 500/4 frame
« on: October 21, 2005, 04:52:31 PM »
New to the forum so hi to you all out there in the world

Can any one help me with a yes or a No

I have at present got a 76 500/4 hardtail that I am rebuilding and the question is can I slot a 750 lump into the frame without modification?

I appreciate that there may be a slight modification and this may be dependant on year/model etc but are there any 750 lumps that might fit?

Many thanks for checking in and big T.Y.  if you can help

easy answer no
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
