Greetings from Upstate New York!
« on: April 01, 2009, 07:59:11 PM »
Greetings gentlemen,

Honda fan here here currently in upstate New York. My bike, however, is residing in a garage in central Texas.

After spending $63 on gas one morning, last year, on my way to work to fill up a '93 sunbird, I decided something was up. A few months later I bought a '81 cb650c. My dad had an old cb360 he used to ride when he was in college thats been collecting dust since the late 70s and I always liked the look of these bikes, so I started from there.

Anyway, I've been working in NY for a few months (left the bike at my parent's house) and will be here until November. I'd bring the bike up here, but I want to make sure I know what I'm going to be doing after Nov. first. Next time I'm visiting home, I'll take pictures for you guys! It still needs a bit of work, and I'm thinking of messing with it, but it will be a while. Once I do, you'll know as I'll be asking questions!

Well, looking forward to being on the site!

Welcome, look forward to the pics. By "..and I'm thinking of messing with it..," you really mean improvements, right? :)
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Ah yes, of course they will be improvements! I have been thinking of changing the rear fender, exhaust, and putting in a solo seat. Perhaps I should replace the head gasket first though. I get these ideas in my head see...
