Whats up I am a military type who lives in Arkansas...getting ready to move to sunny California...I purchased my '77 CB750F last year before my latest deployment to the big Sand box it has been sitting under my house gathering dust, dirt, and leaking oil until I found a local shop who would actually risk working on it, and there its been since...at least now it runs on all four cylinders.

Welcome, cherry bomb, where in CA are you going after you finish your tour?

Best of luck w/ the shop.   It seems that when these bikes go into the shop and the owner goes away, it turns into a "well, we're waitin' on a part, shouldn't be more than a week or two..." that just goes on for months and months.   Hopefully you found one that's got a wrench with a passion for the older bikes.

ha ha...yeah had that experience already...it sat for almost 3 months at one place waiting on "back ordered" parts...finally got smart and got it out of there...the place its at now is ok...the wrench doesnt like to work very often though so getting him to help get the gremlins out of the bike is difficult at best...ive been forced to learn a lot about this bike out of frustration and not wanting to wait for him to "feel like" coming into work. but it runs now...which is a good start! anyway I got a place out in the sacramento area this past week. ill be at Beale AFB. California is pretty nice i think ill enjoy it out there!

I have made a few changes since the pics were taken...new aluminum oil bag...new front tire...and a couple other transparent changes...the over all look is still the same though.

its a lot smoother than you might think...i serviced the front end and it takes the bumps pretty good...the seatpan has extra padding and its sprung. its just not a good idea to ride in the rain unless your wearing water proof everything.
