So, if you are traveling at 60 mph on the highway and you spew at 40 mph, does that mean the spew would come out your butt at 20 mph.... ???

Jeez, isn't this plane in the air yet? We either have to get it to take off, or have it towed back to the gate. It's tying up our active conveyor belt.   ::)

The speed of vomit is a constant.  The next time someone is puking in your face, look closely at it as it approaches.  If the puker is moving away from you at the time of puking the color will have a slight red-shift to it.  If they're moving toward you it will be slightly more blue.  In either case make sure you have your mouth closed.
