Online accounts and Web design......
« on: April 03, 2009, 02:51:15 PM »
Why is it that high tech companies like Verizon have the inability to design their websites to be user friendly?  Why is it that when I want to access my bundled TV/DSL/Phone service account I MUST HAVE 3 !@##$% USER ID'S AND PASSWORDS, can't get a common user ID on Verizon.net because I choose not use their email, and that they have screwed up my bill ever since I signed up!

I design computerized Building Control Systems with Graphical User Interfaces and sequence control programs from the ground up, as my choice of career. and I always focus on ease of use while satisfying the Sequence of Operation that is specified.  How difficult can it be to design a website/service account system to be just as friendly?  Do companies like Verizon, AT&T, Direct-TV, etc. hire a bunch of morons?

End of rant.
