yes.

there's a pair of 4 inch baffles stacked up in there that I drilled like a hundred 1/4 inch holes in.

it's got a decent amount of back pressure compared to a straight pipe, and it sounds more ''tuned''

It rode very comfortably for +/-30 miles, I took it to St.Pete and rode around while my truck was broke down...
it handles and brakes very well, feels like when you "turn in", like in a right turn, it just drops and whips effortlessly into the turn.
feels very nice

when I got back, my Gee Dee gas tank was leaking and I haven't sold enough stuff to get a bottle of sealer.
or a gs450 tank
once it's all straightened out I'll do a proper test with video commentary.

no, it had a sealant.
BUTT, it had some unrelated petcock issues that made a leak aaaaaand apparently Carpy didn't seal it up good enough, cause when I look in there with a mirror I can see there's no sealer where it's now leaking from,
at the seam.

Well, if you dry it out and then seal the spigot area, you MIGHT be able to save the tank.....if it's too mushy/spongy in that area, the tank may be toast.

Hopefully you have a good inline filter...to keep the carbs from getting gummed up.

It was enough of a concern to me...that I paid a fortune to get an alloy tank....and even that had to be lined, as the ethanol will chew on the aluminum as well! $:-\$

yeah, I have a pretty nice set of filters.
the tank hasn't had gas in it for about 2 months so I think it's dry.

soon as I get some spare change I'll re-seal it.

I really need to get a different tank though, my forks hit the tank I have, and it causes a lock to lock problem.
An early 80's gs450/gsx250/gsx400 has the same basic shapes as the dunstall, but it points like an arrow at the front.

'75ish 750F tanks have a nice shape that can be "worked" with a mallet as well.

Hey..I'd be interested in taking that DOHC Swingarm off yer hands if you ever decided to swap it after all. If not I could sure use a lil info on what , were and exactly how much you shave off the edges at the pivo point. I've got a cb750 custom swing arm I'm about to do the same to (basically same Swingarm) and curious what kind of spacing you used when you mounted the wheel on the new axle...
