Hello From Alaska
« on: April 04, 2009, 04:58:19 PM »
Picked up a '73 CB350F on Thursday. it has only 6300 miles on it, and the paint is in sweet condition. shes got a vetter wind jammer on her (taking that off on monday) and crash bars with highway pegs. bike also has a 4-in-1 pipe on it. bike has had 4 owners (including me) second owner did a partial restoration it seems, putting new parts and seals on where they were needed. original owner bought it and it sat for many years in a garage. been on the road since 2007.

i would like to get a cafe style seat on there, as i don't plan on putting anything other than saddlebags on the back.

thanks for this site, looks like alot of good info.

Greetings from Colorado. Can you see Russia too?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

been a while, but i figured that i would say that i finally got the bike running.

it looked as if it had sat for a bit longer than i thought. had water in the carbs, and i finally got that cleared out, she fired up this afternoon, and purrs just fine. i need to fix the rear brake (the peddle works, and the lever swings on the drum, but there is no stopping power).

should be on the road soon!

Congrats on getting her running. I'd say you did all right considering that it had been sitting for a while. Keep us updated, and post pictures if you get a chance. The folks here are a very visual lot.
