I'm looking into the same project for my 750K3, I want to keep the stock tire sizes if possible, as well as my drum rear brake.  1980 KZ650F had a 18" rear that fits the bill, now to find one...  7 spoke morris knockoffs were on tons of Kawi models, no problem finding a 19" dual disk front, maybe I'll even upgrade to a complete front end while I'm at it, I wonder if the speedo-drive cable will work with my stock clock?  16" rear wheels with the drum brake are plentiful, maybe I'll have to think about it...  I understand that 17mm axles were the Kawi way, simple stepped spacers would adapt the axle to the swingarm, or go with different bearings to allow a stock honda axle.   Here's a pic of a KZ650 with the 7 spoke wheels, I think I'd like to polish mine and powder coat clear.

Early Kawi LTD had real Morris Mags as did One HD model, and were an optional part FWIW.. so you may find real ones but not with a drum..

Yeah, they used morris for like one model year, then Enkei made the copies for them, Nice!  I'm not really interested in finding genuine Morris wheels, just getting past this project and on to the next.

My quest during this project is to find the simplest swap possible with the most parts availability, so anybody who wants to can do it, lots of us hate comstars.

General FYI on a number of questions I've seen. Morris Mags were cast either of aluminum for street use or magnesium for track.
We sealed the magnesium ones with a yellow or lime green epoxy in the drop centers. All genuine Morris Mags had our M pierced with an I in a circle cast in the mags. Each of the magnesium wheels also had its own number stamped in the drop center by the valve stem hole. The magnesium wheels were pickled gold. The aluminum ones were at first anondized in either black or gold or offered as cast grey. Later we powder coated them black.
We had OEM contracts for street wheels with H/D and Kawasaki, and we supplied virtually all factory racing teams with our magnesium wheels. We did not produce wheels for drums.
The magnesium wheels were always sand cast. The early aluminum wheels and later odd sizes were sand cast. Later aluminum wheels in 19", 18" and 16" were cast in our own centrifugal molds in our own in-house foundry. Aluminum and bolts were aircraft quality. Our patent was a design patent (can't get a basic patent on a wheel). The Japanese don't honor our patents and copies of our wheels were later manufactured in Japan.
When Elliot Morris passed away, the molds and other items were sold to PM.
