honda spark plug wrench (89216-323-000)
« on: April 04, 2009, 10:00:45 PM »
Is this still available? I tried ordering it though my dealer and a week later they said it was discontinued. cmsnl appears to have them and has a picture of it on there site and  DSS seems to have one. That's why I was wondering if it was actually discontinued or not.

Are you looking specifically for the original Honda tool, or just something that will work?  If it's the latter, then most bike accessory shops will have something similar.

Superceding part? It's just a thin wall 18mm right?

+1 some lawn equipment spark plug wrenches are nearly identical to the Honda tool.

If you want OEM try ebay.  For NOS OEM you're stuck with DSS or a similar place.

Since they all use the same spark plug the wrench from any year should work. Sure helps geting those middle two out.

I picked up every part new for a new kit for my 75 750F from ServiceHonda.com except the rear axle nut wrench and I got that from David Silver Spares.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

if you take a stocker (should have rubber inside it), and weld in a small 1/4in drive socket in the far end, and use a 1/4 drive ratchet to re & re plugs, you will never be happier.
