Looking to get a new cruiser to take on long rides want anything up to 1200....and cheaper the better.
I have looked at some vt1100 and vt750's any other models that have good power and handling etc. looking for all opinions.

I'm not a cruiser guy, but the new V-Star 950 is getting good press and it looks nice.  These are bikes you buy for style, not objective performance - they all do about the same thing.

I think the vmax came out in '85, I always thought those were pretty cool. Maybe a '98 vmax would go for cheap these days.

I love my Vulcan 900 Classic. Smooth power, good on gas, handles nice. Looks killer too.
