So I figured this was the place to post the news, that a JMR billet barrel now resides in Canada.

I am intrigued to know how much cooler these will run not having sleeves to hold the heat....They sure do look pretty in person....
I will be making 10 more of these. It will be about 4 months from now as far as completion.....maybe sooner. I wrote a big check yesterday for the materials alone....they are coming and they the evolution will continue
I can see a big J M R etched across the face of the front fins Just an idea considering it's a CNC job
Billet head...?
Yeah, but I'm talking big here. Something that covers the entire frontal fin area with a slightly recessed JMR. That should only be a minor programming thing. About 3 or 4 times larger than this: J M R

Everytime I see this thread, I picture Ahnold in sunglasses saying "who will pay" while holding a shotgun. Alternatively, I see Dirty Harry saying, "...who's gonna pay, kid?"
Mike, i have read in a different thread on here that i will have to use different rings with the Nikasil, is this correct..?http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=85494.msg973828;topicseen#msg973828Mick
I think Mick has his own pistons, if they are plated they will have to be swapped out for none plated ones, you can't run two hard surfaces against one another.Sam.

I have one of Big Jay's 1000cc piston kits, they have no coating on them yet ,and when i do i will only coat the piston tops...
