So I figured this was the place to post the news, that a JMR billet barrel now resides in Canada. ;D ;D ;D

Excellent TT, aren't they a work of art.... ;D  Did you go sleeves or Nikasil.?

It is definitely a work of art RR.  They look great in pic's, but when you get to see it up close. :o  I was itching to unwrap everything, but instead just sat and stared. ;D ;D   It's a Nikasil barrel, JE pistons.  Not sure if I will use the K3, or a K4 engine I have, as the bases.

I am intrigued to know how much cooler these will run not having sleeves to hold the heat....They sure do look pretty in person.... ;)

Pretty is an understatement.  I'll also wondering how much better these will cool.  I use to have ( ::)) a head temp gauge for the race kart.  It used a thermal couple under the spark plug(s).  Be interesting the get some base lines.  Can't remember, are you going to use EFI?

I will be making 10 more of these. It will be about 4 months from now as far as completion.....maybe sooner. I wrote a big check yesterday for the materials alone....they are coming and the evolution will continue ;) ;D

Yeah, but I'm talking big here. Something that covers the entire frontal fin area with a slightly recessed JMR. That should only be a minor programming thing. About 3 or 4 times larger than this:

Classy!  We'd want them inlaid with semi-precious stones, of course.  ;D
Take care,

Everytime I see this thread, I picture Ahnold in sunglasses saying "who will pay" while holding a shotgun. Alternatively, I see Dirty Harry saying, "...who's gonna pay, kid?"  ;D

I think Mick has his own pistons, if they are plated they will have to be swapped out for none plated ones, you can't run two hard surfaces against one another.
