That was a nice bobber--brand new too--not sure the helmet is DOT.
The bar is right next to a chopper shop that does some good work.
I live in Virginia, but was picking someone up at the
Baltimore/Washington airport which is close to the biker bar,so I stopped in.
I made quite an impression in my Ford Focus--Ha !

A squad car did stop by.
It's obvious these guys are tight with the cops.

I have a question for you guys that say they are stupid for drinking and riding.  Are you saying that you don't ever ride to the bar?  Never have a beer or two at a moto function like Mods vs Rockers?  I would not assume they are drinking irresponsibly.  Most of the Harley guys tend to be in their 40's or older and know their limit by then.  Just saying......

I do find "the Harley thing" to be very tedious.
But I have say these guys seem to be very comfortable with who they are.
And I doubt if they spend any time at all "cafe bashing".
The drinking at this place was quite moderate, but it was only 5 p.m.
So who knows ?

In my case that is exactly what I am saying...if I am riding it is plain pop or water period. Doesn't help though that with my graduated licensing that if I get caught with ANY alcohol in my system I can be charged with DUI. Even still I gotta admit that when I am on the bike I have no desire to drink. I am stupid enough when I ride sober...beer = balls and that is the last thing I need more of on a bike that can do well over 200km/h.

I am not much of a drinker, prefer other options, but this has bugged me for a while now.It used to be ;Don't drive drunk!Seems reasonable.Somewhere along the line it morphed to don't have ANY drinks if you are going to drive. The media and the police through their spokesperson MADD have led the charge to where we are now.As you see from some posts already, lots of people sing this tune too.I often wonder how many people get put through the ringer that were far from impaired. This is not on my list of things to worry about but dats how I feel.   Rock On
