David,

I had 3 in stock and they all sold earlier this week. These must be part of a larger order I place each month or the freight cost from Italy becomes very high. I normally have sold 1 or 2 of these each month and was not expecting a sudden rush of orders. I will bring in 10 this time to make sure I have enough inventory on hand.

Thanks

that is the email i got from jim i told him he might need to order more! ;)

I just got another CB750 to add to my collection of four :) and was looking for a fork brace as I am planning to actually ride this one....Long ago I had an xs1100 that I put the Tkat fork brace on (http://tkat.com/forkbrace.html) so I contacted them to see if they would make me one for the CB. They said that they will make one if there is more interest than just me :) Would anyone else want one? I really liked the one I had on the XS as it is machined from billet, fit perfect, looked good, and was not too expensive.

tHE hell YOU SAY! i'M INTERESTED!, My only concern is that I have a cb750k5. Am I SOL?  Will it not fit my bike? I could give a rats ass about a fender if it will fit my forks.

Indeed!

I talked to the guy and looks like he made some SOHC fork braces as a "one of" thing for the members here. Looks like he is pretty busy now, and it maybe a month or two before he we get ours.....I put an order in, but because it was going to be just me he quoted a bit higher.

The best thing is to contact him and see what he says. (408)980-8880 or www.tkat.com

FYI, I am local to him, and if he needs a front end to be able to make a fork brace, I have a 1976 GL1000 front end (going on one of my 750s), 1971 CB750, 1974 CB750, 1975 CB750F, and 1978 CB750F bikes that could be used for measuring...

He now also has made some 400F fork braces as well and has the measurements.

TKAT! I remember him1 I was looking all over for where a I put that link to his site too and couldn;t find it. w/ 9 pc's..its kind of a pain to find stuff.. i tend to favor one for a week and then I forget where saw stuff.. i really need to link that somehow.

Anyway...that would be great of you could get him to measure off your '74k. I think that would be an exact match since technically mine was built in '74.

Only thing is..How much would it cost? Not that money is an option...which it is of course. LOL

I dropped off the '72 and '74 front ends off at Tkat's yesterday, but forgot to bring the axles, fenders, and triple clamps.  Those parts are in my truck now, and ready to be delivered.

I can't wait to finally ride my CB750 "properly" :)

I have two GL1000 front ends that I bought for a dual disk conversion, maybe I should have just ordered the brace for one of those...it has been a long time since they were bought....time to get busy.

i got a brace from tkat for my 550, in i think 2014. so he was still active then - but that's now also some time ago.
his website is still up. best thing would be to contact him on the email address that's on there.
