It's easy to slot your cam sprocket, they're not very hard material, and you don't have to remove much to hit your opening / closing points. Yes, spend the time to degree the cam.
Per RC liturature, valve springs can be shimmed to the point of .050" before coil bind.
F-2's (stock) are NOT stronger retainers, don't push your luck at extended high RPMs with them.
The guides - well, since they ARE probably egg shaped (all of mine have within very low miles), have them replaced, honed (not reamed), and then cut new valve seats. You must cut seats to match once guides are replaced.
Keep in mind these stock honda valves are Stellite coated and grinding removes this facing.
I'd make sure your head porter is looking for port VELOCITY increases, not just simple flow volume numbers. There's a big difference. FYI, with that F-2 head, your exhaust already outflows your intake...
