Vincent BS
« on: April 08, 2009, 04:59:11 AM »
"Vincent Black Shadow"
Great name for a band
--and they're playing at the Velvet Lounge in D.C.
on the same bill with
"Dead Commuter", "Kid Goat", and "Orinoco Flow Test".
I've been to this place.
9th & U.
Suggestion : Don't go there.

This is quite a ways if topic but I noticed you have an Indian.  I'm piecing together a basket case and can't quite figure how the exhaust header is fastened to the head.  There is a small hole in the exhaust flange but no threads or retainer like you would expect on an exhaust header.

9th and U is a little sketchy, but the Velvet Lounge is alright.
Being a Lower East Side boy, who has also lived in Oakland and beautiful East Palo Alto,  DC doesn't really scare me much.
Wish I could get a kitchen pass to go see some music tonight but it ain't gonna happen.
Woo Hoo, maybe I can do the lame bike night tomorrow @ Hooters in Manassas with the dudes from work  :-\

that singer is HAWT!
To paraphrase what my friend Duane used to say "she's got lock jaw on Gwen Steffani's dilsnick"

reminds me of my days out on the road w/ No Doubt.... that so doesn't seem like 10 years ago...
(slips into deep depression about age and the fact my earlier days were SO much cooler than suburban Dad-dom......)

no kidding... my buddy's band used to open for no doubt when they were still climbing ranks.
gwen is way hotter than he is so i can see why they made it big and his band didn't.   ;D

Greg,

My bike has that same hole in the flange--seems to serve no purpose.
The exhaust header is held tight inside the flange by the process of
tightening the header to the frame down by the foot board.
Keep me posted on how things are going.
What are you missing ?

Nice one, Bobby.
He mentions Boxhill in his song. That wouldn't be Boxhill, Surrey would it?
Go there on a sunny Sunday and that's where a lot of the bikers from all over the south of England meet up.

Yes it is, he is from England so all of his songs center around the UK. He is well respected both here and the UK.
