Newbie South Carolina
« on: April 13, 2009, 08:21:41 AM »
Hello everyone. My name is Scott, and I'm building my first CB750 projects. I started collecting Parts bikes, and vintage parts a little over a year ago. I got sidetrack when I purchase a 75 Pontiac Astre panel express shortly after. The Pontiac is about done, so it's time to get back to the bike projects. I've collected enough parts to build 3 or 4 bikes. I'm planing on building 2 bikes in inperticular, and they are as follows.

The first is a stripped down CB750 Hard tail. Some parts I have are, 73 750K engine. polished forks, polished caliper, Moon oil tank, Clark plastic tank, 1.65X19 & 5.5X16 spoke rims, custom style 4 to 1 exhaust, and battery eliminator. I still need a lightweight frame, and some small odds-n-ends.

The second bike will be either a cafe, or a low & lean street custom based on the roller picture below. It's a 75 CB750F with some really nice parts on the bike already. Custom seat, rear fender eliminator, and best of all a set of YOKOHAMA MAGS! I also have a set of Koni shocks, Italian rear sets, and a 78 CB750F engine.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
