Accidentally bought this (for a pittance) on ebay a couple of weekends ago;
It's an '86 FZ750 that's definitely seen better days. Most of the plastics are missing & the tyres are several stages beyond worn-out. But under the dust & grime, it's mechanically all there - including unwarped brake discs, electrically it looks complete & un-butchered (which, after the 550, is a novelty), and the frame, tank & engine are corrosion free.
I've already bought all the service parts it needs, and acquired a twin headlight fairing from an FZR1000 Genesis.
Paint is going to be Yellow/White/Black, and since my fingertips still haven't fully recovered from doing the 550, there is going to be
no polished ally anywhere on it!
And the name, Yamaha already used ThunderCat, & ThunderTurd seemed a bit too cruel
