If you want to ride it hard you need at least the brace from the front fender or the forks will flex out of line all the time

Love it. No nonsense.

Can you give us some details on what exactly you did to get it where it is? Is that rattle can on the cowl and tank? I really like that tail light too. Did you make that cowl yourself?

I Bought the glass tail section and glassed it in the tail light.  its a bucket tail light off of a 32 ford roadster. I dont like the way it looks witht hat rbac so im guna see how it feels with out it. its is a rattle can paint job but i cleared it with ALSA soft feel. makes it tougher and it feels like this suede-rubber. really cool stuff but its expensive.

I assume you also put some new rubber on there as well. Is that special clear you used fuelproof?

actualy the rubber was on the bike when i bought it. its in decent shape. i used special paint for tires and painted the lettering white. i was bored one night. I have my eye on some coker repros but those will go on when the hubs and spokes are done.

as for the clear I am not sure if it is fuel proof, i know rattle can is not so i just use extreme caution when fueling up. below is the product I used. really cool stuff and really cool spray cans. they need to be mixed when you use them. watch the video demonstration.

Is that the Air Tech rear cowl?  If it is, how did that work out for you?  Looks really good for only $800.

no i got the tail from dave at http://www.hotwingglass.com/   nice guy, very quick to ship and will cut the seat to desired length. its about 1/2 inch too narrow because it fits on the rails nicely but with the snaps bolted inside it makes it hard to get over the frame rails.  The tail light i glassed in myself not too shaby if i might say.

Cool, I'll have to check him out. I've been looking at those Air Tech seats but I'll give him a look too, thanks.  Good work on that light, it looks very clean.
