Greetings from Canada
« on: April 14, 2009, 08:18:08 PM »
I've been lurking here as an observer for the past few weeks, so if it felt like someone was watching you, then I'm very sorry ;D. Figured I'd finally introduce myself since I picked up a 1973 CB500 and a 1977 CB550 last week. I can't wait to pore over the info this forum as I do my rebuilds.

And the playoffs start tomorrow. Life is good!

Welcome from Southern Ont. Derek..

..where'd you score the bikes from? I've noticed more and more in the local classifieds lately.

Thanks guys.

I got them both through Kijiji...one in Chatham and one in Barrie. I too have noticed quite a few more ads lately. I have a "Toronto + 1000km" Kijiji search bookmarked to make things easy.

As for my bikes, the one had some work done and runs already, but not well. The other one's pistons and valves are completely destroyed.

Should be a fun summer :)
