I've never been in any type of "rally" and have been searching lately. I've found a few that are decently local to KC so I thought I'd post 'em up for anyone else that might be able to attend. I'm not sure which of them I'll get to go to but will be trying to go to as many as I can.

Highway to Help - Benefiting Children with Spina Bifida

Event starts at 10am on July 11, 2009 at Cleveland Chiropractic College. Registration will begin at 9 am. Pre-registration dates coming soon!!!

This is an ALL Kansas Poker Run. All money received will go directly to Camp MITIOG to benefit children with spina bifida. There will be a grand prize for the best hand after the run. There will also be a raffle for other prizes.

Cost is $20 for rider and $10 for passenger.

Sunday Motorcycle Tours

This summer, the Kansas Short Grass Motorcycle Club will be sponsoring monthly motorcycle scenic tours held the Second Sunday of each month from April through November. Daylong trips are being planned to tour through northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri, where we hope to pick up new members along the way. During our tours, points of interest will include: natural scenery, historic locations, museums, cultural events and of course, a good home-cooked meal along the way. Our organization is open to riders over the age of 18. All makes and models of motorcycles are welcomed.

Kansas City Ride For Kids

2009 Kansas City "Ride for Kids" Registration opens 7:30 till 9:15am (breakfast) Rider meeting 9:15am. Ride leaves 9:30am promptly. Police escorted loop ride through southern Johnson County Kansas. You will be riding with out local survivors, we call them our "STARS". The route is an estimated 46 mile cruise and returns back to the College for lunch and our "Celebration of Life" ceremony.
