CB350F Stainless steel brake lines.

My package from Z1 Enterprises arrived today. Inside was this:

GR44516-10 Crush Washers, 10 Pack
GR306-03-32CH 10mm X 1.25 Male to Male Adapter
GR992-03 32CH 10mm X 1.25 Banjo bolts, qty 3
GR592-03CH 10mm Straight Banjo Fittings, qty 3
GR10321 103 Series Black Coat 21" line
GR10310 103 Series Black Coat 10" line





Here is how the male to male adapter fits. Use it if you do not want to use the hard line to the caliper.











Installed on the bike.

Is that a new thing on their site? I don't remember seeing a brake line kit from there. Might have to get one...

thought about doing this myself thru Z1.
thanks for putting the parts list and #'s up here.

did you use DOT 5 (looks like you repainted your caliper)?

isnt the OEM banjo at the MC a 30deg? 
did the straight banjo you used at the MC cause any cable routing or binding issues?

The OEM banjos are straight so that is what I ordered. No fitting issues. FWIW, I spec'd the lines to be 1 - 1-1/2" longer than stock to make sure there were no issues with routing.

Right on.
only reason i asked about the straight one at the MC is that the line is routed near the steering stem and needs to make a turn towards it so it doesnt hit the R fork.
the banjo at my MC is a 30deg, and has yellow paint mark on it from honda.
i'm pretty sure its factory, as my 350F has no mods.
anyway, no matter/small beans.  good project. thanks for the pictures.  looks great.

stock... is not a straight fitting.

Heffy. your correct. Stock is a 90 deg. bend with a matching rubber boot.

I like that the goodridge hose comes in black.  It's kind of a "sleeper" mod in that way.  Ive been thinking of doing this myself but I might eliminate that tee on the fork where the brake light switch goes.  You can get a brake light switch banjo bolt.

Warning... the hose fittings are 7/16".... and not 12mm!

I had to use a 30 degree bend at the junction block where the brake switch is located. 
I had assumed that the fitting at the MC is a 0 degree.  I guess it all depends which axis we use for the orientation.

you can find them in 12, 30, and 40deg intermediate bends to keep lines straighter(=shorter)

I have a similar setup on my 400, I put some plastic spiral cable wrap around hose where it passes between forks and mudguard stay to stop any chafing.
