Can't find any #'s on my K1 Carbs, so Main Jet should be ??
« on: April 16, 2009, 08:37:03 PM »
The stats say the carbs could be 3 different types and the main jets either 105's; 110's or 120's...how do I know...can't find any number stamped anywhere on the carbs...?

Can't believe I'm posting as a K1 guy...OMG..this has taken 39 years of loving/lusting after a K1 CB750.....now I have one  !!!

If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,
If your sure it's an ignition problem; it's carbs....

K0's and some (maybe all) k1's came with 120's.
No.

I feel a 'plug chop' coming-on, when I get the thing going..lots to do yet....can't wait for that 4 into 4 no 'baffles' sound.....for now it's 120 mains, are there any #'s on the early carbs ??

AFAIK, jetting changes didn't happen until the K2, so 120's should be stock for your bike.

Carb casting number should be on a flat on the topside of the carbs, right where they mate to the aluminum mounting plate.
