  • im a bit off the charts. sorry.
OK People...   its been a long week of work.  my chicky is on a business trip out in hershey pa. and im sitting here bored with a totally hot (bike of the month if i do say so myself =]) 750 cafe racer sitting in my garage.
anyway... i'm getting dressed for a chilly night ride out and a beautiful day ride home tomorrow.
i'm posting this so if by some strange chance my sexy #$%* (bike, not girlfriend) lets me down, i'll have a back-up plan of someone out there that lives between new jersey and hershey pa that might be willing to help me out.
if you are one of these kind wrench monkeys and want to text me your # that would be awesome!
my cell # to text to is 1-732-775-0003.
if any of you guys have my back on this i thank you now.
its been a long winter and a long week so i'm off and charging!

That's a good idea Dan. I've got a much longer trip coming up in November, it would be nice if I could get somthing similar in place.
Good luck on the trip and lets hope you enjoy and don't need any help.

I'm sure that Me or Ink and Goon have a place for you to crash and awsome BBQ here in KC.
If I get the bars back on this weekend I should be able to ride some.

HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS!!!
MY bike rocked it the whole time!
i'm back home at the beach and let me tell you,   i love my bike.  this morning when my girlfriend had to go back to meetings i kicked the 750 to life (starter button never worked but i like it that way. kinda gotta earn it like The Fonz) and went out looking for the a.a.c.a. hershey auto museum.  after a little breakfast at bob even's i pulled into the museum.
what a great place! build in 2001 and 3 levels of cars, trucks, buses, and YES...motorcycles. i must of walked the place and talked to the curators for four hours.  the bike section is hot. must of been over 50 bikes from 18 something to 1979.
if you live within 3 hours of the place i strongly suggest checking it out.
but hurry. the bikes are only on display till may 25th!
ok, so after the museum i met up with the girl and had lunch. grilled ham & cheese. mmmmmmm
washed it down with a coke, and told the girl i'd see her tonight.
then i switched the settings on my GPS to "back roads" and took off.
anyway... the 750 ran great. i think i might even go so far as to say my build was a success.
my only regret was not bringing my camera. i could of had some great shots for the "lets see your sohc on the road" thread.  oh well next time.
