Stator wire connection order
« on: April 16, 2009, 05:54:37 PM »
A small bit of background to explain.

Catastrophic stator/field coil ejection.

Stator wires mauled.

New Stator.

Cut wires -> new spade connectors connecting mauled wire to stator. (a spade male/female in each yellow wire between stator and connection)

Question is - does it matter which yellow wire (from stator) plugs into which yellow wire  (on its way to the rectifier)....I don't think it does - but i thought i would check!

Thanks!

There is no order significance.  Each wire's AC voltage gets converted to DC becomes common at the output of the Rectifier.
