Topic: I'm back!

Hello all!  I was a member several years ago, back when SOHC/4 was just an email list.  I had a '77 CB550K then.  I sold it and bought a sweet '82 Yamaha Seca 550 and rode that for a while and have had several newer and older bikes since then.  I am currently riding a '98 Bandit 1200S.

Fast forward to today, and I just picked up a nice '75 CB550 from a friend.  The bike runs very well and is perfect for my petite wife, who likes the old-school styling, low seat height and easy handling.

I still have a few parts from my previous CB550 kicking around the garage.  Anyone want a set of highway bars?  How about some float needles?  CB750A carb set?   

I hail from Phoenix, AZ.  I'm an MSF instructor and trackday instructor.  My wife obviously rides, and so does one of my three daughters.  My oldest just made me a grandfather!

Anyhow, I am happy to be back and look forward to hanging out with you all.

i am friends w/ a guy from the old mailing lists... wish i could say i was a part of that...

i'm only member number 58 here on the internet forum.  

for those a bit newish to the forum... check what member number you are by going to your user profile and hovering over the summary link on the left of the screen.  look at the bottom of the screen where your browser lets you know what going on... mine says: u=58

Hey Heff, is the member ID # different from the u= #?  Because my member ID # is 5041 but my u= # is 10031.

Thanks for the warm welcome, all.

I looked and I am still in the membership directory from my previous bike, number 2709.  I also remember joining this forum when it was first created, but apparently my account was deleted when I didn't log in for a long time.

In any case, it is good to be back and have already spent hours perusing the classifieds and other forums here.  Lots of great info!
