New CB550 Four owner in Denver
« on: May 21, 2009, 07:18:29 PM »
Howdy, I'm Nick.  I've been lurking for a little while now and figured I should go ahead and post this.

So yeah, first bike ever.   I was looking at some modern superbikes but decided I didn't want something everyone else had.  After some dilligent searching on Craigslist, I came across this 1977 CB550 Four with 22k on it.

The previous owner bought it bone stock and spent a year doing various things to it.  Rebuilt forks, new brakes/tires, tank and rear fairing/seat.  Overall, I am pretty stoked.  Its going to sit in my warehouse at work until I get my MSF course and gear, but I guess I can sit on it and make "Vroom Vroom" noises.

I look forward to (hopefully) being a useful part of the community.
