greetings, folks.
« on: October 25, 2005, 10:24:28 PM »
Well, I recently purchased a 73 CB350F for 200 bucks complete with owner's manual, original bill of sale from Anderson's Honda in Pontiac, Michigan, the warranty card and even the packing slip from the crate.  I'm rather happy about it, and figured I would say hello.   ;D

Wayne I'm so jealous. :) I just bought a very dilapidated CB350F for a lot more than that (Aussie dollars). I look forward to seeing your pics.

I have the packing list from the crate with my bike too. What's that all about?!! ???  It's pretty cool to have all the history though and it's interesting to find someone else who also has the crate packing list! Wonder why they handed them out!!

I got the manual and the original sales receipt with mine too. It was bought for $1200 in 1974 in Cheyenne Wyoming. I managed to get in touch with the guy who bought is because his address was still on the receipt!!

good news folks, I finally got around to buying batteries for the digicam.   Sorry I've not gotten any pics for the moment, but I've been busy riding my other bike and working over the carbs for this little CB.  :)  Ironically, I think my girlfriend has decided that it happens to be HER bike when I'm done fixing it.  Pics to follow soon.

FINALLY I have done a little photo shoot with my CB350f.  Quite photogenic, considering the poor little guy hasn't been fixed yet.  Rather than suck up all of this forum's bandwidth, I have made a little web page for the CB350f.  Here's the link, enjoy.

I can say with much relief that I didn't put that sissy bar on there.  Sadly enough, my girlfriend likes the bar except for the cross.  Something about "If I'm riding with you on it, I'll have a backrest".   ::)

It'll look much better when you find the right diamond pleat king and queen seat. Try e-bay.

The really cool thing is that Anderson Honda is still in business to this very day! I visit them from time to time and now and then you see a classic in teh showroom.

Sadly, they now won't work on bikes more than 10 years old (unless you have a Gold Wing, then 15 years old). Even if you proved it was purchased there, they'd just say, "Sorry". :'(

What a shame.
