I'm a bass player, upright/electric doubler. Just figured there has to be a bunch more on here.

I play lead triangle for my band. Okay, I can't lie. I'm actually the rhythm triangle player...

Seriously, I play guitar, self taught. What I play varies on my mood, but mostly hard rock stuff. I recently picked up a keyboard to help me learn how to read music.

I have a fender strat (mexican), a fender acoustic, and a Casio keyboard (can't remember the models). Solid and affordable instruments. One day when I finish off paying my student loans, perhaps I'll get a Gibson or an ESP. Of course, that is if I don't do something silly like get a girlfriend!

I'm kind of curious as to what kind of gear you guys play?

Drums, Guitar, Bass, Trumpet.

Started on Trumpet in 4th Grade, Moved to guitar when i was 12, Dropped guitar for drums at 16 when my friends and i wanted to start a band but we all played guitar.
I worked out pretty well though. I never took any drum lessons, it just kinda came naturally.

I Still play a little today but not as much as I'd like.

I play guitar mostly.  I've been dormant for quite a while, but I am finally getting around to getting something going with a friend of mine.  Playing is a great hobby, and a needed artistic release from my otherwise technical, squared-off work life.

Guitar, 22 years. rockabilly countryfried swamp grooving was my last band.  I like to play most anything that has a beat.
Banjo, 10 years.  Old time claw hammer style.
Fiddle, 8 years.  Old time cross tune, little bit of cajun influence.
Bass, I play guitar.
I am also a sound engineer.  Freelance 11 years.  I have toured with a few bands that could actually pay me.  I'm in between gigs now.
I repair tube amplifiers.  See my Ampeg post.
I haven't played with a band for about 2 years now and I have been going crazy here in southern Vermont looking for musicians.  They're here but hard to tap in to.  I have too much time in it to stop playing.

I DO NOT PLAY COVER TUNES.  I WILL NOT PLAY WITH A CLASSIC ROCK COVER BAND!
