I believe that if you print up some stickers you should print up a bunch and offer them here.  This job might pay for itself.

I used to airbrush murals when i was younger, so I hope that my airbrush skills are still there :) though it's been a while. Sure, I can look into stickers if you guys want. The only thing is that the pinup girls are "appropriated" from the internet ;) but I'm sure small numbers won't be a problem.

Mike, I gotta compliment you.  I am honestly a prude (and proud of it), but I sure know craftsmanship and art when I see it.  That is nice.  The old 'bomber look' touch is class.  This is the sort of stuff that makes a bike uniquely your ride.  You'll get lots of compliments on this.  And definately airbrush it yourself.  That part will also be unique to your ride.

Wonderful artwork. I just wanted to add my vote to make those available commercially. I'd buy a set and so would a friend who also has a CB750. Especially in a decal format for tanks(thin vinyl like the originals) I don't know the details involved but with customizable models, wings and text it sounds like a fair amount of sales could be made.

There's a reason fuel injection is around...but I would sure miss swearing for hours on end if I didn't own a few bikes with carbs.

If you get them done up in stickers or vinyl, count me in for one pair with the redhead. This one...

I actually nicknamed my bike the "Strawberry B1tch" after I saw this plane in person...

and i think the pinup would be fitting.

Has learned so far that..."complete" gaskets are never complete no matter where you get them, VHT Silver Case Paint is just as durable as painting your motor with chalk and cheap tire irons used with rim protectors are useless on 30 year old tires.

That is exactly what I had in mind for my other bike. It's a '76 GL 1000 aka GoldWing. Those first 2 years came without any crap hanging off them and a GoldWing done that way is called a "Naked GoldWing". I wanted a pinup to put on the faux tank - naked but with nothing naughty showing. Your image would be perfect, except for the Super Sport lettering. Will you be doing a version without the Super Sport lettering layer? Possibly one that said "Naked Wing" instead? ;)

If you aren't going to do stickers would you be willing to post the Photoshop files?

Attached is a pic of the bike in question. I think the red winged one would look great or the white one. I'd need to changed the Honda lettering to something other than black tho...

thanks for all the great comments and interest. I am truly complemented by them.

I'm looking into having these stickers printed and might need about a week or so to finalize things. I am bit of a perfectionist, and just want to make sure that the inks will hold up to UV so I don't get hate mail after :). I am hoping to be able to do custom one-off runs as well if all goes well (jmckinne and Hinz). I will look into making a couple of versions, I think most will be without the Super Sport since that would likely blanket most bikes here,and will do both red (modern) and white (classic) wing. Any suggestions on the colors of Honda lettering? The black was to be for my paint scheme originally.

Pinup girls are my thing but I like the riveted sheet metal look and am definitely interested in guage faces.  Can't wait to see some prototypes and add me to the list if you sell them.

Mike-

It's really the classic details in the white wing that draws me to it. So with the white wing some red Honda lettering might be good. With the red wing maybe white lettering? Also: I have a hunch that if you did versions that reversed those colors they'd look cool too. IE: Classic wing in red with white Honda, and modern wing in white with red Honda. Just a thot. Those lettering color changes would just be for darker colored bikes like mine. On lighter colors the lettering color you used looks good to me.

Also personally my comments are all about the 40's era gal. Your modern girls are mighty hot and on a modern bike I'd be tempted but I'm looking for a retro theme - and PG nakedness.

Uhhhh, hell yeh you should.

all that combined with a worn, brown leather cafe seat (possibly made from the leather of an old bomber coat) and we got the makings of something REALLY cool. 
I'm actually excited.   ;D

I don't know if would start to look too much like a "theme bike", but I like this headlight cover and i think it would compliment the idea...

Think your graphics are outstanding.  Was wondering what you could perhaps do with an Asian lady?

A nice Geisha..or perhaps Japanese child-woman or "Cosplay" image..which were popular during the late 60's - thru 70's in Japan (still are actually..if you look @ some of the current pics of Japanese pin-ups..et al.).

I think the Asian pinup would be a lot more "correct".  The artwork you've created looks fantastic. I've toyed with the idea but wasn't sure how to pull it off. I think you've created a very tasteful look.  Here's a couple of pics of a Telecaster I built from a kit for my son. He was pretty young when I built it for him and didn't like the surprise I put on the back of it. He's 15 now and has grown to like it. I printed it to waterslide paper and then cleared over it with the lacquer top coat.
