Did you bob that fender yourself?  If so how?

How's you get a good even curve?  Stop from screwing up the chrome?

Ok ok... by popular request... I had to redo it in higher resolution :) Though the pinup graphic might be a little too big in these pickies.

and the solo shot!

Hey gregory1975... that fender is bone stock. The only thing I did was take off the little bars that run across the front wheel :) I''m thinking of painting the tank (I used to airbrush murals and stuff when I was younger) but to save myself the PIA of masking the girlie... might do that as a sticker ;) A little cheating never hurt anyone...

Hmmm... old wing huh? Gonna try that... Modified and added next to the other version Gotta love Photoshop :)

This has to be the coolest paint scheme I've ever seen!  I saw your avatar and was about to PM you asking what was going on, and then I found this wonderful thread.

I love the whole WWII look.  Man, this is so cool!

Thank you for the compliments :) I'm currently sourcing out a 2nd tank and going to build a cafe seat and will go ahead with this paint scheme for next year. The tank badges are only a few days away. I hope it will come out at least close to what it did in Photoshop :) Am thinking of adding a "weathered" racing stripe down the tank and seat section. Like it was warn away by wind and age...

Just my opinion...
I'd try not to over do it.  The racing stripe might be too much.  The rivets and pinup girl are perfect.  You can't improve perfection.  Less is sometimes more.
Just my opinion though....

I can't get over how cool this is.  Can't believe no one's ever done it before (or at least, I've never seen it before).

Good point soichiro.... I'll draw it up in Photoshop first, but I think you are right. It's gonna be a delicate balance.

Go with the red wings.

Yeah, I think I prefer them also.  They may be the more modern version, but for some reason they look more vintage.

Man.... those rivets were a PAIN! :D
Yup just Photoshop so far... done with my handy Cintiq

Red wings huh? I'll print both I think...

Did you guys want me to make a wallpaper out of the pinups? Could be done. Let me know. I can always put it on megaupload for you guys to get full resolution.
