boring/honing for 836
« on: April 22, 2009, 09:57:40 AM »
So I'm dropping of my cylinders and wiseco 836 pistons off at the machinist today and I just want to know if I should tell the guy anything specific.  I'm going to have the guy bore and hone the cylinders, fit the rings, deck it by .010, and hot tank and media blast it so I can repaint the block.

The guy came recommened so I think he'll do a good job, but I just want to be sure.  It's for a 77 750k.

thanks

That all sounds good. You can run .018 piston to cylinder clearance no problem
