spigot mount exhaust on K7 motor

76 CB750F with 78K motor

Ok so i have already ran the search. And found this.

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=40878.0

So i understand that the spigots can be mounted to the K7 head on my bike.  But my issue is that the studs on my bike interfere with the squeeze clamps.

How would i do the conversion? Do I remove the studs for the "bolt on" clamp and use the screws that hold the spigots on the head?

Im sorry im sure this is a very easy thing to do. Its late as i write this and have had a few beers.

This is what it looks like on the bike at the moment

its really straight forward...

1. remove exhaust
2. screw on 2 nuts on the studs
3. back off the outer nut
4. studs will come off
5. get new exhaust gaskets
6. install spigots....
7. screw in spigot screws...
8. install new exhaust...
9. titen exhasut clamps on spigots...
10. crack open a beer and ask another lame question ;) ;) ;)

The quick answer is that the studs have to come out if you want to use the spigots.  The spigots should have screws that hold them in.  Some folks have had trouble getting the studs out.  Make sure to use lots of penetrating oil.  Some folks talk about using heat but be careful not to damage the aluminum head.
