They are nice and shiny. I wonder how much they cost? I'm not scared of carbs the way I used to be, so it seems like the issue I'm seeing is that springs and whatnot wear out and those little parts are impossible to find unless you buy an old set of carbs which will have old worn our springs and whatnot. A nice new pairs of carbs with all new everything sounds VERY nice.

Those carbs are light years ahead of the CR's. That's just talking about the flatslide design. A few years back there was a fella that was going to import FCR's spaced for the 750's. Unfortunately he passed away.

So...are we to assume that they're a "drop-in" with the spacing correct and the throttle linkage there?  Do we have to adapt stuff to get them to "fit"?  I too would like to know how much...if anyone finds out, let us know.

You might need the VM 29 smoothbore adaptors to mount them.
I did a search on " Mikuni TMR32-D7 " and all I found was German Sites. I dont read German so it may as well been Greek to me.

Here's a set of Mikuni 33mm flats I modified to fit the CB750 (PD mounting flanges). They are real close together, closer than the carbs in the link look to be. Thats what makes me think the VM 29 adaptors are needed, unless it is just a "stock" photo of a simular carb.

Didnt POGUE Racing way back (80s)sell all kinds of big Mikuni kits for a few brands of bikes?

What kind of linkage are they using that makes putting them on a rack, so difficult?, is it a through rod, or?

Are these a direct fit or does some modding need to be done?

I guess google was way off on the conversion or I wouldn't have asked. No offense, but that is WAY over of my budget.

Hell, for that kind of money, you could do fuel injection.

Flatslides typically are poor for street use. There are some issues at anything below WOT.
At WOT, however, they are superior... which is why they are used most commonly on racebikes.
If I were building a cb750 racebike, I might look into these, because at the end of the day, a difference in a few hundred dollars for components is minimal, in terms of racing.
No.

Slides!, I dont need no steenking slides, no needles either, I can change venturi size in minutes, plus my jets come out the top, without draining bowls and I got ball bearing throttle shafts...... guess I am not going to change.. ;D

Maybe find a used set on e-bay .  At 1900$ for a set of carbs for another 500$ you can probably buy another CB with those carbs already on it .  ???
