Honda p/n 35350-300-016 is dicontinued. I checked the continuity and, yes the switch is bad. Any suggestions as to an alternative? Thanks,

I'd think that any front brake switch with the right threads would be suitable, which would include all CB's at least through to the DOHC models I think.

There's always eBay, DSS, Yamiya, et al.

I have had great luck with Goodridge Single Bleed BL Banjo Bolts ....

I use the double bolts when using dual stainless braided lines.  The brake pressure triggers the light ... work great and clean install.

Hi Mike - thanks fopr the information. I assume that you re-plumbed the whole front brake line and ran a single line from the master cylinder to the caliper putting the sensor on the handlebar? Wonder what the thread size is on the OEM banjo bolts (before I pull them off) to see if there's a sensor banjo bolt that would fit in the existing splitter?

I'm in the same boat as you are. I aquired a MC off a 77,78 cb750. The stop light switch Is a pin switch on the lever itself. I just now need to rebuild it before it goes on the bike

Z1 sells one that goes straight into the brake lever banjo bolt.

Both Dennis Kirk & Z1 sell the Goodridge banjo bolt with the sensor. Z1 is cheaper (p/n FS12-010). The 3 OEM banjo bolts (p/n 90145-300-010) are all the same so the new sensor banjo bolt should fit the splitter located behind the headlight as well as the handle bar master cyclinder.

Actually on all of my bikes I have either put a GL1000 front end on the K's or had Super Sports so I always run a double banjo bolt brake light switch from the master cylinder with two braided lines, one directly to each caliper.  However, with a single to a splitter the single Banjo would work great at the Master Cylinder in the same manner, then just run the switch wires into the headlight bucket to connect to the harness.  Best of luck!
