you really have to wonder if modern medicine has given us a surplus of people that would normally have gotten themselves killed without the medical care we have today.  :D

Aww, come on!  When I was a kid my dog (30lb mutt) used to pull me all over the neighborhood on my skateboard, and she loved it!  Spent her entire life outside and lived to be 18 years old. :)
