Blue smoke? You're burning oil. "How is the oil getting into my cylinders?" you should be asking yourself. The two most common answers to that question are "past the rings" and "down the valve stems". If you have bad valve stem seals you would typically see oil smoke on a cold start as the oil would be dripping past the seal, into the cylinder, while sitting. I'm going to go with rings. They're around your pistons, and they're not sealing with the cylinder wall. Oil is getting past them. Either way, you're looking at a top-end rebuild.
