wheels conversion ? cb 550 k

Has anyone any knowledge or even carried out a conversion on a 1978 cb 550 k to comstar wheels ? I have a set of wheels from a 1981 cx 500 honda with excellent condition comsatr wheels ... i am thinking of putting them on my 550 k as they have twin discs and calipers has anyone done this ? Or does anyone have the info as to will they fit ? all help/advice would help the bike will eventually be a "cafe racer" of sorts cheers rod. ;D

i dont know about the comstars, but if your back wheel is in good shape im interested in it.

you cant use a rear wheel from a shaft drive motorcycle on one that uses a chain drive. cx500 is shaft drive

Doh your absloutely right shafty is out then .....the back wheel is absolute junk.....rotten as a pear.
