Noticed somthing werid tonite on the bike
« on: April 24, 2009, 11:14:59 PM »
So I was riding the 750 home tonight and I noticed that my turn signal idiot light fades on and off slightly. Any idea why it's doing this? Turn singals and idiot light work just find when working. Battery is charged. I changed the flasher to electronic a while back.

I checked the ground (earth) ;D cable to the frame and it wasn't lose. Neither was the the cable to the battery. It was just starting to get dark as a got home tonight but I didn't really see it today.

try checking the earth (ground) wired for the instrument cluster and idiot lights.
They need to earth out too.

IT might not be a bad idea to pull the tank, headlight  and side covers and check all of the connections, these old girls are notorious for wiring issues. It might not be a bad idea to unbolt the ground connection and check that as well.

X2, probably a poor/dirty connection inside the headlamp assy, ck all of the green wires&connectors.
