All bikes must be street legal with a plate to ride on the paved roadways. Test Rides on anything seem to be permitted. We take several bikes to the swap area and get stickers for the headlights of our pit-bikes. This year they intend to inforce the rules about under-age riders which I think is a good thing. With the sticker on the headlamp you have full riding access to all parts of the property, including the pits. Advice.......Ice is available on the grounds. However, it is less expensive off-site. Be aware of numerous 'parties' in the campground areas. Also, last year they created new campground spots because of overflow. The new sites are to the right of the boulevard behind the swapmeet area. It is adjacent to the swapmeet vendors overflow parking area. Again. stay on the high ground because of poor drainage if it rains. You might want to bring an umbrella and boots.....just in case. Also, the motocross, scrambles and trials events are in or next to the primary campground so don't plan to sleep in!
If Jeff agrees, would the leaders of the Sandcast Only and SOHC/4 wish to have the Rickman on display when or if it would be available? I am invited to their pit area and have communicated about the display tent. Friday is OK for crowds. Saturday and Sunday can be very exciting if the weather is good.
