Header pipe OD on 82 CB650

Good lord, I've looked everywhere online and while I can find lots of replacement exhaust systems, I can't for the life of me find a simple figure for what the damn OD is for the pipes.  My headers are still in good condition, but one of my mufflers has rotted through.  I don't have the cash to invest in a new system but I can't find replacement mufflers without knowing the OD of the pipes.

Anyone know what this is off the top of their head?

But if $$ is a concern, I got a 4-1 I would sell for cheap.
Ghost was going to buy it, but that never happened...
Mabey you got something to trade??
Could use a good lead on a machinist job!

Seriously, i'm asking under 1/4 the $$ for a mac system for the 4-1 system I have.
I might have a line on a 4-2 system for 40 or 50 as well if interested.

OD of the stock headpipes on a 4-4 system is 1.4" .

1.4"?  Is that 1 1/4? 

Soos, I don't care much for the 4 into 1, but a 4 into 2 I would look at.

No 1.4 inches is just a bit over 1 3/8.




I'll see if the guy I know with that 4-2 still has it, and will try to take pics for you.
